A view from the bowcam of the Encore as her lines are coming in. She is headed for Ketchikan (arrival on August 4), for a short Alaska test cruise. She’ll be back in Seattle on the 6th to get ready for her first revenue generating cruise on August 7th. From what I can gather, it’s about 1300 VIPs/travel agents/professionals aboard. A way to test out the systems/procedures for embarkation, disembarkation, muster, etc.
Muster drill seems really easy. You watch a video through the NCL online check-in app and then stop by your muster station to check in. No standing for a roll call on deck. I approve!
